I have been playing lacrosse since the age of 8, but I have found an increased love and passion for the game in the past 4 years. In addition to Lacrosse, I also compete in other sports (Soccer and Hockey) and have maintained an above 85 GPA. I believe my dedication, leadership, and knowledge of the game would make me an asset to any team.
Living in Massena, New York which neighbors the Akwesasne reservation has given me a chance to play in other places. Playing for teams on the Akwesasne reservation has given me a chance to adapt to different coaching styles and different styles of play. I have played for the Massena Youth Lacrosse organization from grade 1 all the way through grade 6. I played for Massena's modified lacrosse team in my 7th and 8th grade years, and also played fall lacrosse for the Akwesasne Attack JV team. I then went on to make the varsity team as a freshman and have continued on this team through the present season.
Academics are very important to me. My parents have always told me that school came before sports. With both my parents being coaches, they know and stress the importance that academics play in my future. I strive to keep my GPA at least an 85 or above.
I am also involved with other school sports as well. I have played on the Varsity hockey team since my freshman year and also have been a member of the Modified, JV and Varsity soccer teams as well. I also contribute back to the local sporting community as a referee in the minor lacrosse and hockey programs and I help out with my brother's minor lacrosse team whenever I am available.
