I love all sports as I play Lacrosse, Football and Basketball. Lacrosse is where my passion is. I am a defense man for my school team, Rye High School ~ Rye NY and my club team Westchester Predators. While I struggle and have to work very hard academically, I excel in my athletic ability. Academically I have struggled since Kindergarten. Even with my 504 in place, tutoring, resource accommodations by my school, etc. I struggle to maintain an eighty average. It is with the support of my teachers and resources that have helped me to understand I am doing a great job because of the effort set forth in my studies. On the other hand, my ability to play sports comes easier to me than others. I understand that people are better at certain things than others and sports is my strong points. I put my heart and soul forth and play my best. I was once told by a coach of mine that the passion I have can not be taught and will serve me well in the future. That makes me proud of who I am and what I can accomplish even when something may be a struggle. It makes me believe in myself and believe that I will be able to achieve all the things I desire. With all this said, I feel that I would be a asset to your team and to your college.
