I am a junior at Wallkill Senior High School. I originally started playing soccer at a young age and found myself in a travel soccer league. While I loved soccer, in 8th grade I decided to give lacrosse a try. I was recruited for a local travel lacrosse team and immediately fell in love with the sport. Lacrosse soon became my primary sport. I initially played defense but realized that my speed and endurance allowed me to excel at playing Long Stick Midfielder (LSM). While primarily playing LSM, I also am called upon to play close defense quite often.
I currently play for my high school varsity lacrosse team, elite travel lacrosse team and winter indoor lacrosse league. I’ve continued to improve my playing ability by attending the Duke and West Point summer lacrosse camps. While lacrosse is my principal sport, I am a multi-sport athlete playing at the varsity level. I am the kicker on my high school varsity Football team and participate on my high school varsity Nordic Skiing team. Throughout my time in high school, I've received my varsity letter in lacrosse during my freshmen, sophomore and junior year. In both 2016 and 2017, I placed in the NYS Section IX race for Nordic Skiing, winning Section IX medals. An accomplishment that I’m very proud of is earning the Academic Excellence Award in Physical Education during my sophomore year.
This Spring/Summer I participated in numerous showcase tournaments. On June 9th I participated in the NLF Power of Will Individual Showcase at the Stony Brook School on Long Island. I played in the Lehigh Laxfest, - June 11,the LI Laxfest - June 17/18, Trilogy Rider Tournament June 24th/25th and the UMASS Summer Classic - July 8th.
I most recently participated in the UMASS Fall Classic where I was the Face-off player for the majority of the tournament.
