My name is Kevan McClung and I am a senior from Rye, New Hampshire. I recently completed my junior year at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover, NH and play Varsity lacrosse. I am 5'10" and weigh 195 pounds. I made the Varsity lacrosse team as a freshmen in 2010 and started 11 games out of 14 as a longstick middie. During the summer 2010 season, my NH Tomahawks club team went undefeated at the Long Island Classic in Hempstead, NY. During the Fall 2011 season, my NH Tomahawks club team went undefeated at the Elite 180 Fall tournament. I am a leader by my actions on my lacrosse teams. I received the Coaches award my sophmore year for being dependable and attending practice even though I was inactive due to a torn ACL injury that occurred during the fall 2010 football season.
Last spring, I started as a defenseman for St. Thomas and our team finished runner up in New Hampshire Division II with a loss in the state Lacrosse Championship game. Our final record was 13-4. I have been named one of 5 captains for the 2013 St. Thomas lacrosse team.
I would consider attending schools in the Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest or Western States. I am open to different types and sizes of schools but have a strong interest in a mid to large school with a strong academic reputation. I am interested in healthcare majors but I am undecided on the specific major at this time.
Thank you for taking time to review my profile and background.
