Hi, my name is Jordyn Marchiano. I play Football, Basketball, and Lacrosse. I am a very busy person but I manage to keep my grades at an 85 average. I am an outgoing person and willing to meet new people from different areas. This summer I played on a lacrosse team from North Carolina and made a hand full of new friends from that lacrosse team. I like playing with different kids because I like to see how different people play the game of lacrosse. I have played with kids all over the country and I have really learned the game of lacrosse in different ways. I also have a bit of a box lacrosse backround. I played box lacrosse for two years for the Onondaga Redhawks on the Onondaga reservation.
In what ever sport I am playing whether its football, lacrosse, or basketball, I play hard. I approach things with a good attitude and show enthusiasm. What makes me different is I am always trying to improve my game. Even the little things like ground balls. Im from Lafayette, New York. In Lafayette everyone starts playing lacrosse when they are in first grade. I got a late start. I didn't start until fourth grade and i was well behind. I was actually pretty bad for the first year or so because i treated lacrosse as just another sport. Then I realized this is what I want to be doing for as long as I can in about 7th grade. From then on I have been working on all aspects of my game and now I am here today on a recruiting website. I have come very far. My dream is to play Division 1 or Division 2 lacrosse at the college level.
Academically I work hard. In the classroom I am the kid who likes to have fun but is ready work when i need to do so. I try to make goals for myself in the classroom to try to improve my grades. It doesnt always workout but I always come close. Then I try again the next marking period. In the past I have helped some of my teammates keep there grades up to be eligible for the upcoming lacrosse season. I am always willing to help if they are willing to try. I love playing lacrosse with my friends. So I will help somebody get their grades up if it gets them on the lacrosse field with me.
