Personal Statement
I am a 5’8” attackman from Cincinnati, Ohio and will graduate from Cincinnati Country Day School in 2018. I started on my school’s varsity lacrosse team as a freshman, sophomore and junior. My freshmen year I was second team all-league and my sophomore year I was first team all-league. I have played lacrosse for 10 years. My GPA freshmen year was a 3 and my GPA sophomore year was a 3.5. In my sophomore year I scored 43 goals and had 37 assists. In my Junior year I scored 34 goals and had 27 assists.
I would say that I am a very different athlete from most because of the variety of sports that I play. Lacrosse is my favorite sport and I would like to play it in college but I enjoy participating in many sports. This year I played lacrosse, football, basketball, and some indoor soccer with my friends. I play all of these sports at a competitive level. I have also achieved success in swimming and wrestling. Other passions of mine include water and snow skiing. Recently I learned how to barefoot ski. I am a certified scuba diver and lifeguard. I am currently working as lifeguard during the summer months. I have spent time volunteering for local organizations such as Hill2Hill, a program which teaches underprivileged children how to play lacrosse, and Lakota Lunch of Love, a program which provides daily lunches for children in need.
