Personal Statement
So far the highlight of my lacrosse career was my team going 10-0 as a second-year player and being one of 4 B teams to make it to the state tournament. Though there was much success that year, most of the lesson came during the tournament, as the first seed in D3 we lost every single game. As a very competitive player, it left the feeling of losing in my gut. The experience taught me to never be complacent and work harder to have a better situation next tournament.
I have always been an aggressive player that sacrificed for his teammates and left it all on the line every game and practice, sometimes my coach would have me take it down a notch. I have developed a lot from my amazing teammates and coach teaching me leadership, commitment, and teamwork. As a student-athlete, my mom told me that if I didn't have straight A's I wouldn't be allowed to play sports. My academics are extremely important to me and I plan to get a college degree in business. My commitment, leadership, and love for the game would be game-changing for your program, but not only do I believe I have the character for the collegiate level but I have the skills to make a great impact on your program. I've been a team captain since my first year of lacrosse and I'm a three-sport athlete that could be a great leader on your team.
