Personal Statement
My collegiate goals would have to start with my goal to graduate with a masters degree in engineering. But before that I want to keep at least a 3.5 GPA throughout my collegiate career. What makes me a good candidate for any coach's team would have to be my leadership abilities. For many years I participated in Boy Scouts and many of those years I held some sort of leadership position. My last year I was in charge of eleven kids and that has taught a lot on how to lead people so that everything runs smoothly. I think that I stand out as a potential candidate because of my innate ability to befriend everyone on my team. My freshman year I had the seniors walking up to me during school and we would be able to have a casual conversation. Also I take my athletics very seriously, if I am not practicing or doing school work I am doing something that could help me in my sport. Lastly my academics is my top priority at all times. I made a goal for myself at the beginning of freshman year that I would have all honors/advanced placement and keep an A average all year and so far I have tried my hardest and it has paid off.
