[UPDATE: 2022-2023 -- Team Captain, Strath Haven High School]
I started playing lacrosse because I was always an active kid, loved sports, and my brother and sister both played it. As soon as I played lacrosse for the first time I loved the fast paced, but also strategic style of the game. I also loved being around my friends and meeting new people from lacrosse. While playing lacrosse I learned that I am very persistent and will never give up until the task is finished. In college I hope to play lacrosse at a great school and earn a great education while keeping my grades up. To do this I work hard everyday on the field, off the field, and in the classroom. I also have played box lacrosse for the last 5 years and now look forward to it each winter because I feel that it enhances my stick skills, inside/finishing game, and physicality. And it's a lot of fun. I pride myself on my leadership, grit, team-first attitude and lacrosse IQ, and consider feeding, finishing and stick skills to be my strengths. I also make sure I am at every practice and game in order to help the team get better. In school I take pride in my grades, the fact that I work hard in everything, and I stay focused in class.
