Personal Statement
I have been playing lacrosse since I was in the 6th grade. The first time I played was for my middle school team, and I currently play for my high school and local Summer travel team. It is my dream to play the sport I love in college and to reach the next level.
As a Senior (fall '17) in high school, I can use both my left and right hands with great skill. I help tutor underclassmen in the face-off techniques I have been taught as well. I love using my skills to help my teammates improve and I am excited when I see them succeed in games. It is my goal to be ready for any challenge the sport can throw at me through hard work and self-motivation.
At School, I enjoy challenging myself with advanced classes and extra curricular activities and maintain a high GPA. I take honors and AP classes along with as some college courses. In addition to lacrosse, I challenge myself with extracurricular activities like student government, French Club, Duke TIP, National Honor Society, and weight training.
My dream is to play for a college where I can show how hard I'll work to both my coaches and my teachers. I am open to all college options and want to find the college where I can challenge myself and succeed the most. I hope to be able to inspire others through my actions and encourage them to be all that they can be.
