Christopher Severson '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chris Severson.  I've just completed my junior year at Bingham High School and my second year as a Varsity starting attackman.  I was the leading scorer in Division 1 this past season with 68 goals in 16 games.  I also have 6 assists and 77 ground balls.  I was named 1st Team All Conference and 2nd Team All State this year.  I am a hard worker who did not miss one practice this season.  I also play for the Utah Starz competitive lacrosse team during the off season and have attended many invitation tournaments including the Sonoma Classic Invitational and the Coronado Invitational.  This summer I attended the Sonoma Elite showcase, the Denver 205 Invitation with the Utah Starz Elite team and BYU camp.  I also played with the West Coast Starz and attended the UMASS Summer Classic and Yale Bulldog Invitational in early July.  I have 3.767 gpa taking honors, AP and concurrent enrollment courses and got a 24 on the ACT.  I am interested in studying Commercial Arts at a college where I can also contribute to a great lacrosse program.  I would like to play as a freshmen but I know I'll have to work hard to earn that privlege.  I hope to make a significant contribution both on and off the field in college.
