Personal Statement
My name is Ed Williams and I am a Senior lacrosse player at Herndon HS. I am passionate about the game, so much so, that I dropped both football and basketball in order to focus my off-season training and energy on lacrosse.
In lacrosse, I am an assist-first player. I have always been drawn to team sports and I love the atmosphere of working together for a common goal, winning. I am a very accurate and resourceful play maker with great vision and a keen sense of the game action. I especially love the back and forth in-game adjustments.
I come from a supportive family and I am fortunate to attend a diverse school that offers many opportunities. I am focusing on my studies but I also make time to be a leader in the Young Life Group. Over the years, through church, NJROTC, or the community, I have been involved in a number of volunteer projects. I have also refereed and coached youth sports teams. In addition, I have been the catalyst for off season lacrosse workouts for the HS team over the last few years. I tend to lead by example.
I am looking forward to a great Senior year and I am equally excited about taking the next step, attending college and continuing my Lacrosse career.
