Personal Statement
My goal is to attend a collage where I can receive a great education and earn a valuable degree. I am looking for a school that will properly prepare me for Medical School. At this time, I aspire to work in the area of Sports Medicine. I am looking for a lacrosse program where I can be part of a group that similarly, wants to work hard and be successful.
What sets me apart from other recruits is I always work hard to improve, listen intently and learn quickly. I work as a team player to help my team succeed. As a defender my goal is to recover the ball and set up my offence. I strive to be a leader on and off the field. I am the captain of my lacrosse and my football team. I have been selected as a Squalicum Mentor to the underclassmen in my school. I will continue to lead through mentoring, teaching and by example when I go to college.
As a lacrosse player, I am always looking for what my team needs from me to succeed and I give 110% at all times. I can successfully play Defender, LSM and Face-off. This season I am number one in fielding ground balls as a Sophomore Varsity Division I starter. I was selected All-Conference for the second year in row and rated the number one Defender in my conference.
I work hard on my academics to make sure I will be the kind of student college programs are looking for. I currently have a 4.0 GPA, taking rigorous course work and working to continue on this path.
Even though school, lacrosse and football keep me very busy, I also find time to work. I do yard care for local businesses and string lacrosse heads for our local lacrosse club players. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, hiking, skiing and hang out at the Lake.
Please let me know if you have any questions at anytime, I am looking forward to playing Lacrosse at a competitive level beyond high school.
