Personal Statement

First and foremost academics is the most important part of my college experience. But, I have always wanted to play the sport I love for as long as I can. That sport is LACROSSE. I have dreamt of playing lacrosse at the college level for a very long time and I want it to be a reality. I have worked very hard to get where I am today. I play lacrosse in a community that does not offer this sport at any level in the school system. I have had to reach out to other communities and clubs for lacrosse to be able to play this sport. I thanks them all so much for the opportunity to play.  I have proven myself in the classroom, in our community along with the surrounding communities and on and off the field. I will continue to prove that I deserve to be on the field  in college. Not only as team player but as a coachable one as well. I will also be a excellent student and represent the lacrosse team proudly in the classroom. Let me show you the good person I am.

Thank you,

Sam Kerr
