Dear Coaches,
I appreciate the opportunity to provide a statement and I hope you find enough interest in my profile so I have the chance to meet some of you.
I am currently a junior, and play varsity-level hockey as well as lacrosse. I have played attack and middie, but I prefer playing middie because it allows me to play both ends of the field and contribute on the defensive end. It also helps me stay in the entire flow of the game. There is nothing more exciting to me than forcing a turnover and starting a fast break the other way! Athletically, you will not find a better conditioned athlete due to my hockey training.
Academically, I will finish my junior year at a 3.0. I am not yet sure of my goals for college, but I am considering sports marketing and mechanical engineering. I attend Cedarburg High School and have had a close set of friends for several years.
What makes me a good candidate for your team? I am passionate about winning and team play is more satisfying than one-on-one play which usually fails eventually.
I have a close family, including an older sister currently at UW-Milwaukee. I am excited to attend college and play hard for you at the next level. I will be on a traveling club team this summer, so hopefully we will have the chance to meet soon.
Thank you.
Max Kilmer
