Personal Statement
In college, I want to broaden my leadership abilities in and outside the classroom. My aspiration is to get a degree in aerospace engineering and, eventually, join the United States Marine Corps as an officer. What makes me a great candidate for your team is that I take a direct role in leading my team, find ways to persevere in the hard times, and am the most dedicated and loyal player that you'll find.
There are several areas that make me different from other recruits. I have strong, ethical character and am tenacious in everything that I set out to do. I've played soccer in multiple states with nine years experience and have attended various soccer camps to improve my skill set. I was named first team all-county my junior year. Additionally, I have played three years of high school football and was named all-county as a junior. Currently, I am running cross county with a 17:38 5K.
I've been playing soccer for as long as I can remember. I love and enjoy the competitive spirit of the game. On the field, as well as in the classroom, I strive to improve myself. I maintain a 3.4 GPA in school with honors and advanced placement courses.
