Personal Statement
My name is Naruyeya Ruburura, mostly called Ken by mostly everyone because that is my nickname. I am a class of 2020 student athlete with dreams of pursuing soccer at collegiate level after my high school education. My main target behind my participation in soccer is not all bout going to the best school in future or get the chance to finish my education through it but instead, I am using this chance as the start of my preparation for the dream of playing at the professional level in the near future. I am a player of my kind, exceptional from others in my own way. I am recognized by my coaches as the most hardworking student athlete in the team because of the ambition I always display when it comes to team work time and school work time. I know how to differentiate sport and school importance, but I always give school and my academics the first priority because without them there will be no hopes and dreams of achieving my goals in the sport I love. I value sportsmanship first when it comes to any competition in sports and staying on task is one of the praise I have earned from my coaches and teammates in my two years playing for Phoenix College Preparatory Academy. I like to love what I do in the game and what my coaches love me to do in any game for that's what keeps in my standards as an athlete. I am one of those that takes every game as a final and I don't doubt to claim that I have the spirit of a killer when it comes to showdown of any game because I am one of the tower of strengths that my team has when comes to the team's rescue. I don't wait for the call but rather follow the call with ambitions to get better than yesterday. If you are looking for the best fit for your team, I am ready for any challenge from any collegiate level of playing!
