I have been playing soccer since I was four years old, and ever since then i have been ahead of my peers. My size and strength has always given me an edge against my opponents. With a max bench press of 245lbs and a max squat of 345lbs I have been an extremely physical presence on the field. I have always dreamed of playing soccer at the college level and I believe that my work ethic and physical ability can get me there. Along with always being bigger and stronger my tactical and mental game has also been ahead. I have played soccer across the nation which I believe has provided me with a different level of experience then others. My dad has been in the army for 17 years and recently retired meaning I have constantly had to move from place to place. I have played for two high end soccer clubs and made the player pool for the New Mexico ODP team in 2012, this soccer experiance has provided me with an immense amount of skill and understanding of the game. Having to adapt to adversity has built my character and work ethic so that i push my self to being number 1 where ever I am. I truely believe I have what it takes to play at the college level.
Along with my goals in playing soccer I also have goals in the class room as well. I have taken engineering classes since freshman year which has sparked my interest in engineering. Therefore, I would like to major in some type of engineering. And in the future pursue a career in engineering. I have always challenges my self academicly and succeeded by having a 4.12 GPA and taking Honors and Ap Classes.
Also I am a natural leader. I lead by example and motivate others in a way most cannot. Along with my leadership ability I have grown up in a household of a military family which has made me extremely loyal, reliable and integrity has always been important to me and my family. I believe that if something isn,t done the correct way and the morally correct way then why even do it at all.
All in all, my physical ability and technical soccer ability along with my goals in the class room and morals I would be a great caniddate for any soccer program.
