This personal statement will highlight the reasons why, as a collegiate varsity coach, you may want consider recruiting me for your team. Three aspects of my life make me a compelling person to recruit: my goal orientation, my family/personal story, and my respect for loyalty and desire to contribute to a program where that loyalty is understood and respected by the participants. I personally set goals for myself to become the best man I can be athletically, academically, and socially. Throughout high school I've gotten all-league and MVP awards because I work hard and am commited to the sport. Maintaining good grades is also hard to do when commited to a sport all your life, but because I manage time and prioritize well, I'm able to succeed in both areas. Coming from a family that emphasizes hard work and dedication, I value the lessons they've taught me and cherish them dearly.
