Michael Adeniyi '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a dedicated athlete that was born in Germany of Nigerian parents. I came to the USA due to circumstances in our family at the time. My father and mother are seperated. In order to take some of the frustration of that away from me my dad entered me into  a soccer team. I had been playing soccer in Germany and was known in our community and by many opposing teams' coaches for my strength, height, and shot. When  I was signed up for a West Torrance AYSO team, I excelled scoring about 4 goals a game. I made the All-Star team. I was noticed by one of the local clubs' coaches. Since then I have spiraled upwards. I have played for FRAM CQ, South Bay Force, and  played for South Bay Gunners/Falcons and crowned this with a CalSouth State Cup with South Bay Gunners/Falcons . I now play for Beach FC with Danny Pena one of the best coaches around. I play for High School as well for Lennox Academy in Lennox, CA. I am also a very commited student. Lennox Academy or LMSTA  (short for Lennox Math, Science, and Technology Academy) is one of the best High Schools in America. I could have went to any big school in my area, but I took the sacrifice of less sleep and taking the train and bus to school to attend this school and to give myself an academic challenge as well. I would love to go to college to play soccer and study Civil Engineering.
