Personal Statement
My goal after finishing high school at Riverside Polytechnic will be to play college soccer and put myself on the path in becoming a doctor. I strive to be the best on the field and in the classroom, I take a tremendous amount of pride in the hard work I put in. I am a well round type of player that plays both in the midfield and defensive positions. Despite my size I bring a physical and strong presence onto the field.
The strengths I possess are my hard-work, tactical ability, balls in the air, my mindset, leadership, transitioning, passing, and tackling. Over time I have been able to play all positions and have realized that no matter what the team comes first and that team work leads to success. Also I am a very coachable player and accept any role the coach needs me to fill. I also have a passion and dedication to the game not only as a player, but also as a fan domestically and internationally. I have a goal and dream one day to become a doctor that is still well involved with the game.
Academically I had a 4.0 GPA both semesters of my freshman year. In my sophomore year, I had a 4.6 GPA my first semester and a 4.5 my second semester, totaling up with all A's and one B so far through high school. My sophomore year I took Honors Pre-Calculus, AP European History (I did take the AP test), Honors Spanish 3, Honors Chemistry, and Honors Literature. For my junior year I will be taking AP English Language, AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, and Honors US History. I am planning to achieve a 5.0 GPA this year and to do well on my 5 AP tests.
I am anxious but ready to make the best of my college experience academically and when playing soccer. My standards for myself athletically and academically are incredibly important to me and I am searching for colleges nationally.
