Roderick Ashford Jr '15 Recruiting Profile

           My name is Roderick Ashford. I am currently a seventeen year old Junior from Saint Anthony High School. My current goal is to reach my highest potential within my life experiences and utilize my education and experiences to enhance my personal growth, attend a 4 year University on a scholarship and make it to the next level. My educational endeavors include receiving a Business or Criminal Law degree and play soccer while attaining it. I am a very versatile athlete on both offense and defense that could benefit your team greatly and widen your options. I've played multiple positions during my freshman, sophomore, and junior year that include (Primary position) Forward and Center Midfield. I am a very quick learner, a team player, humble, coachable, and I pay close attention to detail. I have always loved the game of Soccer since I first played it at the age of 10-years-old.

            My mission is to become the best I can possibly be by setting my standards high in all aspects and areas of my life to get the most fulfilling experience that life can offer. I have a strong belief that hard work, perseverance and commitment will enable me to grow into a better individual throughout life. I maintain my workout regimen in the off season, which includes a personal trainer (James Laurence) and Northwest Soccer Camps. My other interests include weight lifting, soccer, basketball, and, volunteering in community outreach programs like feeding the homeless, and coaching youth basketball. I am ready to advance to the next level in my collegiate life and will be the best player and student no matter which college I attend.
