Personal Statement
I am determined to play soccer at the collegiate level. I am a tri-sport athlete that have played soccer, football, and track from middle school through my Sophomore year in High School. Within the last year, I have decided to commit completely to only one sport, which is very new territory for me. After much thought and consideration, of what is most important to me, and my future goals, soccer has reigned supreme. When I realized that in order to excel in soccer at the ultimate level, I would have to quit football (another sport that I have loved and played for the last decade), I knew I had found a greater calling and that it would be for the best for my personal happiness and journey. I have not looked back. I joined the club SDFA (San Diego Football Academy) immediately after making this decision, and have really enjoyed working with great coaches and teammates. I know this new team and club will allow and encourage me to improve my skills and become a greater player. Academically, I'm proud to say that I go to one of the best schools in San Diego (Westview High) and maintain a competitive GPA of 3.4. I am also socially active and have have been elected as the Junior Class Represenative for Avid Exec, which is an esteemed title on the board of the program. I am determined to be the best person, player, and student as possible to achieve my goals of excellence.
