Samuel Vella '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sam Vella and I am a 2010 graduate from Belmont, California. I have played competitive CYSA soccer since I was 8 years old. I have recently played baseball, but due to the two sports coinciding, the only sport I play is soccer. I carry a 3.7 GPA and I am looking for a college that can give me the opportunity to highlight my strengths, in academic and athletic situations, and strengthen my weaknesses. I am currently going over seas for my junior year to play soccer. I will be going to Germany and leaving August of 2008 and returning July 2009. I will be attending school there also. My successes in both academic and athletic is greatly dependent on me following the motto, "Give one-hundred ten percent." I always put others first and am a "team player." Because of these attributes I believe that I can give colleges something that no one else can.
