Jacob Cullen '18 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing Soccer since I was five years old.  Since I first stepped on the field, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing Soccer in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.

I have played center back since I was 11 years old.  My coaches have identified me as someone who was strong in the air, never gives up on a play and a team leader. I always try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players on the field.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I also volunteer at my church and am currently a member National Honor Society.

I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My goal is to major in Actuarial Science or Applied Mathematics/Statistics.  I want a college that will push me in the classroom and on the field. I am open to attending a school outside of California and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.

On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college Soccer career, I will strive to be an asset to the team in every way possible. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
