Personal Statement
Ever since I first came into contact with a soccer ball, I already knew that soccer was always going to be in my life. My dad played soccer and his dad before him, so soccer is in my DNA. I desire to further my education and career in soccer by playing collegiate soccer. My goal is to be part of a major club team and to continue to become a better player that excels in this amazing sport. I hope to find schools that will allow me to play soccer while working on my degree. I want the opportunity of a GREAT education, and not just a degree. I have decided to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy because I am fascinated by the human body and I am an athlete. As a Physical Therapist I will be able to stay involved in the sport that I love, while helping other athletes.
The passion I have for soccer has been with me for as long as I can remember. It has made me a stronger and more determined person; it gives me the ability to push myself physically and mentally. I have always been driven to be the best that I can be, and I am the type that can accomplish anything once I set my mind. I have developed a growth in mindset and can take any negative comments about my athletic and personal performance as important feedback to improve.
I play striker position as well as right and left wing. I am a technical player; I assist, create chances, penetrate the mid field, and make myself available all around. I am constantly searching for open gaps and predicting the next play. I have very strong legs which gives me the advantage of controlling passes, shots, and dribbling. Any time I am given any space; I attack and try to get the ball moving forward. I am confident but humble which allows me to play well with my team mates.
I believe that I can be a strong, positive, addition to any team looking for an ambitious Striker and/or Winger.
