2021 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I’ve played soccer for as long as I can remember, but found my passion when I filled in as goalkeeper at an LA Galaxy tournament in 2014 - from that moment I was hooked!
For the past 6 years I have continuously enhanced my goalkeeping skills by training with my club, attending goalkeeper camps, along with private training with a local college goalkeeper coach. With this experience I have gained a vast knowledge of the game, dialed in on my field presence and game strategy, improved my positioning, footwork and skills, and most importantly gained the leadership and confidence needed to lead my team.
I’m currently a goalkeeper for the Arsenal FC ECNL team, where I have played for the past 5 years. As the starting JV goalkeeper and captain, I lead my high school team to a winning 9-1 season my sophomore year. I’m looking forward to leading our Varsity team to a victorious season as a junior this year. My ultimate goal is to continue my athletic and academic success by playing soccer in college.
