Personal Statement
I have played soccer my entire life and it has brought me nothing but joy. It has brought amazing memories, unbreakable bonds and incredible friendship, and an amazing activity to look forward to throughout my whole life. My goal is to continue soccer through college and hopefully to the next level, I want to become the best soccer player I can be, and I am confident my potential is high. I come from a humble background, I live in a small town and have not grown up wealthy. The hard work for soccer is very fun for me and I am excited to push my limits. I would be a great candidate for any team as I'm a very hard worker; very positive, nice, enthusiastic, and energetic; I prove to be a great leader, and I am very coach-able, respectful, and eager to learn. Since I was little I have played on older teams, at first it was playing one year older. In the beginning it was very hard as many of them were bigger and stronger because they were older, but I learned to push myself harder and become an eventual starter on an older team. Again two years ago I decided to push myself again and join an even older team. It was difficult at first as I was playing with and against guys 2-3 years older than me, but after working hard and persevering, I found myself as a starter and a key player for the team. This year I decided to challenge myself once again. I am currently spending most of my senior year of high school in Assisi, Italy to play soccer for an academy. I am playing with the academy for AC Perugia, pushing myself every day, learning the Italian language and improving my Spanish as well as many of my teammates are from Spanish speaking countries. I am adapting well and am now performing well. After challenging myself each time and succeeding each time, I have learned that I can accomplish anything I wish to in this life. These experiences have taught me that I can and will be the best as long as I keep trying and never give up. Academically I am also a great student, I take advanced classes and love to push myself in my classes as i love to push myself on the field. For my college majors I would love to major in architectural engineering and minor in psychology or physical therapy.
