Juan Vazquez '15 Recruiting Profile

Throughout my life I have experienced many things that have all shaped me into the person I am today. I grew up in Denver Colorado and have lived here my whole life with both my parents that play a huge role in my life growing up and taking steps into reaching the summit. Around the age seven I found my passion, my dream, my goal and that was to play at the highest level in soccer playing alongside the greatest players. As time went on that was my only goal to hopefully one day fullfill my dreams and become a professional soccer player and to this day is still my goal and dream. Throughout the time that has passed and experiencing many different things I have cultivated myself to being a person who sets a goal and doesn't stop persuing it until I have finally reached and made that goal a accomplishment. Throughout my life it was rare for my parents to be there through every step of the way due to supporting the family financially, but mentally I always knew they did their best to be there when they could. They might have not been there every step of the way, but those few times that they were there, we cherished the moment and have given me huge advice that is repeated very often and will never be forgotten. Through there background stories and reality checks it shaped me into the person I am who wants to attend college and persue or major into many things and to this day is undecided. I am a young man who likes to learn many things which can explain why I'm very hard working and never gives up. On and off the pitch there is many things to learn and that is all I want to do. I want to do everything I possibly can to be the best I can be. I do know that in whatever I persue my career in I will perfect it and not only perfect it, but improve it each and everyday. I am always looking forward to new things to improve my game and knowledge on and off the field. When I'm on the pitch I love to learn from everyone else and incorporate some of their ideas with mine improving my game. I am very risk taking and have to be risk taking at times to be creative and show someone something different.
