Villanova Player Evaluation
My name is Jordan Paul Lester,
I live in Broomfield, Colorado and currently play for Colorado Storm North Royal. I also play for the 98 boys ODP team. I go to school at Legacy High School which is one of the top schools in Colorado. I have had a passion for soccer since I was little. I started playing when I was around 3 years old. My passion for the sport grew once I became older and could understand the game more. This sport has taught me many things that have helped with not just soccer but life and hopefully it can teach me more as I go forward playing soccer. My dream is to play college soccer for a great program and to play professionally in front of millions of fans.
My first 2 years of high school do not completely reflect the type of student that I wanted to be coming into high school. I have always struggled with taking tests and did poorly in a few classes in my sophomore year. At the end of my sophomore year I took some test and was later diagnosed with dyslexia, which with a few classroom accommodations has changed my GPA in a positive way. I am working my hardest to increase my GPA by retaking some classes to replace the lower grades on my transcript and working with teachers and counselors. This diagnosis has not defined me but allowed me to grow and become a better student and a better person.
I have always been on the top team for each club that I have played for. I am a very technical player that can control the ball with both feet and can send crosses in at any part of the attacking third. I can strike the ball with both feet, but prefer to use my left foot. I have played every position out there, I typically enjoy playing in the midfield. I try to be the play maker on every team that I’m on by keeping possession of the ball or distributing the ball around the field.
I have always been a hard worker, dedicated, and always strive to do the best that I can that’s if I’m in the classroom or on the soccer field. I also feel that I can be a valuable asset to any college program as I am determined to improve, have great leadership qualities, love to control the game by having the ball at my feet, but ultimately have a great passion for soccer.
My goal is to continue to play the sport that I love.
