Personal Statement
My high school experiences as a two sport athlete have made me excited and determined to compete at the next level. I bring an energetic and positive behavior to all training, games, and off field situations. I also encourage myself and my teammates to be better on and off the field and to work as a team to accomplish goals. Experiences such as competing in a high school semi-final game, as a sophomore, have helped me realize that hard work and determination are components that bring great experiences. I am dedicated to my academics and understand the importance of working as hard in the classroom as I do with my sports training/games.
My high school wrestling experience/training has also shown me my true capabilities as an athlete. I originally began wrestling to stay in shape for soccer and it has helped me become a more competitive, hardworking, dedicated athlete. My hardcore wrestling training has transitioned to my confidence and aggressive training on the soccer field. I am open and excited about all challenges and opportunities that present themselves. I am also looking forward to making my college experiences memorable and using these experiences to grow and learn as an individual.
