Ryan Hughes '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer for 12 years now and have enjoyed every moment of it. I watch soccer on the weekends with my family and friends as well as play almost daily. I also have begun coaching this past year with my club both in a camp setting and in live games. With this new experience as a coach, I have improved my ability to both receive feedback and implement it into my play. I have always enjoyed coaching and have been coaching and playing with my four brothers at home for as long as I can remember. I have always been a leader and a self-advocate, which can be seen in my reaching out to my club director to ask to have some coaching responsibilities. I was the leading goal scorer on my high school team this year and look forward to having more goals and assists in the near future.
