Hello. My name is Kyle Barrett. I am a sixteen year old Junior at Suffield Academy. I am 5'10 and 140 lbs. I have been playing soccer since I was a six years old and never at one point hated the sport. I grew up always being one of the best soccer players on my team and this kept on motivating me to continue to try and be the best on my team. I always have my parents to push me and help me get better in any sport or event that I am doing. I work hard on and off the soccer season while also trying my best to do my school work to the best of my ability. A long term goal is for me to play soccer in college, but a short term goal that I am working on for next season is to be the best Attacking Midfielder in the league. Only a Junior and being able to play against people that are up to three years older than me already feels like an achievement and shows that I am a talented player. I am referred to an athletic person by many people. It does not take me very long to adapt to a new position or a new sport even though I am not going to be the best at it. Throughout my soccer career, I have played every position there is on a soccer field. I have been a goalkeeper, defender, currently a midfielder, and a striker. I also do Track and Field, which is a sport that I do because I think that it is fun and it helps to keep me in shape. I specialize in the 100m with a PB of 11.3s, 200m with a PB of 23.9 and 4x100m. I was on the Varsity Track team for Suffield Academy as a Freshmen running in all tree of these events. It is clear that i would like to succeed in all areas of life and I will continue to do my best to do so.
