Jack Giloth '18 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has always been a passion of mine. I started soccer when I was 4 years old. I was never the strongest of players when I started, but I put in work to get better. Now I'm a top player for both my club the DC Stoddert Red Metros 98 and for my school, The Field School. Off the field I'm all fun and games, but on the field I'm all business. For both club and school I play central midfield. My game focuses around getting the ball and distributing it. I work with my teammates to find solutions through every problem in a match. I like to base my playing on passing, moving, control, creating space, and shooting. I'm not just a hard worker on the field but also off it. I work as hard in school as on the field. I currently have a 3.6 gpa on a 4 point scale. My favorite subjects are math and science. The soccer pitch is my home away from home. It's a place where I can think and express myself. To me, soccer is a way of freeing myself from all my problems and stress. It is the biggest part of my life and that's why I want to play in college. I want to play in any division 1 and 2 school or a competitive division 3 school. I am a leader and positive on the field. I feel like I can contribute by being calm and collected on the ball and control the tempo of the game. I'm all about learning new tactics and learning in general and I know that if I get told something I'll give 110% to complete that task.
