Personal Statement
The 10-0 loss I endured to St. Johns during the DCSAA Championship Semi-Finals was the toughest moment of my career. One that I'd like to think of as forgettable, yet important. It made me remember all the hard work I've put into this sport overcoming multiple injuries that spanned over two years. Nothing beats determination and pure heart, which are two qualities I think are most representative of myself. Soccer runs in the family, and I've always wanted to be like my older brothers, so naturally, I started playing and fell in love with it. From a young age, I was taught technique, technique, technique, which is why I trained with both feet constantly, and I watch hours of tapes from the greatest players in history trying to learn a from them. I'm very interested in seeking out higher education and pursuing studies in engineering with high academic scores at a rigorous International Baccalaureate school, and I'd love to play soccer at the same school I'm studying at.
