I am a goalkeeper from Minneola FL, currently finishing my freshman year at the State University of New York at Cobleskill. I was the starting goalkeeper as a freshman and I feel like I had a successful season and a positive experience in the classroom, but the school is geared towards the agricultural. My goal is to become a veterinarian and that hasn't changed since I declared that to my parents at age 5 but I want to work with marine mammals and endangered species. I feel that goal can be better reached at a school with a wider range of biology offerings.
I want to continue playing soccer as it is very much a big part of me. I came to the sport late (8th grade), becoming involved after my father passed away but I found my niche as a goalkeeper. I leave it all out on the field, working just as hard in practice as I do in matches. I miss the intensity of practice and matches at my current school and look forward to it in my new college. I value hard work and team work and thoroughly believe that team work is a very important step to a successful season. I know I can make an immediate impact.
At my new college I want to grow as a person and learn more about myself while experiencing all the aspects that college provides.
