Personal Statement
I have been playing soccer since the age of six and South Dakota/ Florida high school varsity soccer since seventh grade. I currently live in New Mexico and I have a love and competitiveness for the game. Furthermore, I would like to pursue that further in college soccer. I would be a great fit for the collegiate level. My hard work, willingness to learn, personality, coachability, team player mentality, and soccer IQ will set me apart from other recruits. My hard work has led me to be part of the South Dakota State ODP team, Region II ODP Pool, Florida ODP Pool and Chesterfield Football International Academy in England where I played in the Academy's U-19 and U-21 top teams. I have finished the 2016 soccer season as the Top Goal scorer for Class 6A in the state and Player of the Year for District 3 in Class 6A. When it comes to school work, I have great study habits in maintaining a GPA of 3.6 or higher. I have been in the International Baccalaureate program which involves not only Honors classes but participation in cultural and community service activities. My community service has covered assisting in the Gulf Coast Triathlon, elementary school clean up, and volunteer work at the Youth Center to name a few. My educational goal is to finish college with a Sports management degree.
