Diego Veras '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Diego Veras. I am a freshman at Erskine College and looking to transfer to a program where I can make an impact and where I can grow as a person and an athlete. I graduated with an 4.65 GPA and recognition as an AP Scholar all four years along with being captain of my high school team and player for Orlando City. I can play all over the backline and as a defensive midfielder but I consider my strongest position to be outside back. No matter what position I am on the field, I bring the same level of intensity and passion into my play. I consider my best characteristics to be my work ethic, leadership, and strength and can adapt to whatever system a coach would want to play. No matter what the circumstances, I leave it all on the field and push those around me to do the same. I am just looking for a shot and I know I can be a valuable asset to any program on and off the field.
