Jonathon Clarke '16 Recruiting Profile

I can play all positions across the back - used predominantly at either right or left back, however in my senior year in high school varsity I was starting center back. I can strike the ball well with both feet and can take corners with both feet.  I have a good throw in that can get into the six yard box. However the the best things I can offer is my soccer IQ, my character and my strong desire to always get better.

I can read a game and get an understanding of where I should be on the field and help direct my teammates on the field.  I am aware of the flow and being a grade 8 referee, I know the rules and use them to our advantage at times when others do not. I have a strong upbringing and do not get caught up abusing my body or others and have total respect for those around me and those that teach me. Lastly I want more - I will be the first one on the field and last one to leave - helping to clean up after we are all done. I will work by myself to get stronger, faster and smarter and I want to succeed.
