Jovan Rodriguez '18 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Jovan Rodriguez and I am currently in my senior year at Coral Springs Charter School. I plan to attend a school that will support my soccer abilities and my field of study, which is criminal studies. I feel that I would be a good candidate for your soccer program because I have the heart and passion for soccer. Every time I step on the field, I give all that I've got and always play to the best of my ability. I am a very flexible player, I have played pretty much every position on the field from goalie to forward. I am very well familiarized with the positions and what is to be expected at that position. My primary position is left back, but I am also very familiar with the roles necessary for right back and center back. I am a great leader and a great teammate, and I am willing to play with anyone as long as they have my back as I will have theirs. 

    I am a great scholar. I maintain roughly a 3.5 unweighted GPA and I am very dedicated to my studies. I put school first because without that I would not be able to play the sport I love. I participate in some clubs in my school and I am also part of the National Honors Society and DECA. I hope to one day play soccer at the collegiate level and obtain my Business degree.
