My name is Carlos Acosta, I have played soccer since the 6th grade, and I have always dreamt of playing soccer at the professional level. Therefore, I have the mindset of always challenging myself and improving my abilities. In fact, during my 9th and 10th-grade years, I played for Ed White High School as their varsity starting goalkeeper. However, I felt as if I was not being pushed enough, so at the start of my 11th-grade year, I moved to Clay County in Orange Park, Florida to attend Oakleaf High and played for their varsity team as the starting Goalkeeper. I have played as the starting keeper for all four years in two different high schools. This is not including my club team Florida Elite where I also was the starting goalkeeper on their A team and dual roster ECNL.
I truly believe that what makes me a good candidate for any team is my mindset of always trying to get better and stay at my very best.
I also believe that what separates me from others is how passionate I am about playing soccer. I have always shown sportsmanship at every game I play. My willingness to always improve myself is something that cannot be taught.
My goals for College are:
