Andrew Watson '17 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has always driven my motivation and determination - not only in athletics but also in academics. I have played on soccer teams before I could even read a book. Growing up on the soccer field I learned how to work as team player and how discipline can improve one's life. Through my years kicking the soccer ball, leadership and organization were the most valuable skills I obtained. Working on my game, I have helped bring my teams, club and school alike, to victories such as winning the Florida State Championships and making it to districts last year. My hard work paid off when I was recognized as First Team All Dade and nominated as MVP on my school team my junior year. However, my proudest achievement is being the captain of my high school varsity team my senior year. Soccer has changed my life on and off the field and I hope top bring my team to become State Champions this year.
