Personal Statement
I have been playing organized soccer for as far back as I can remember. Since I was in sixth grade, I have been competing against high schoolers, first as a jayvee player, then on varsity as an eighth grader. As a freshman, I went to boarding school at Woodberry Forest School in Virginia, where I led the team in assists. It was at Woodberry that I made the commitment to play soccer in college and that is why I returned to Tallahassee and Maclay School. Because at Woodberry, I could not play club ball, here in Tallahassee I was first able to play with Tallahassee Tottenham Hotspur FC, my club team for eleven years, and then when that age group broke up, ASG Florida for this past fall season. No matter where I have played, I have been very fortunate to have great teammates and coaches, which has allowed me to earn many individual honors, like making the all-state team here in Florida for my eighth grade, sophomore, and junior years. In school, I have been around a “B” average student, but I know that I can do much better. My goal this year is to finish strong and to have no grade lower than an “A-“. Finally, please let me know what I can do to help you in the recruiting process.
