My name is Carlos, I am a very driven 2020 center back and center defensive mid. As you can see on my profile, I take academics and soccer very seriously. I want to find a great college for me, in which I can develop myself academically and athletically. I am also looking for a college that wants to get the best out of me, I am very coachable, and I am willing to do anything that is asked of me to be a great teammate.

This was my third time attending the Oglethorpe University camp and for some reason i felt that this time out of all the times was the best. I felt more comfortable and wasn't scared to mess up, because the first time i came i felt like every pass i made, every shoot i had it had to be perfect like 100% right on. But that time it wasn't the case i had to remember to have fun and to do my job. The camp was a really great experience just seeing how all the different coach did there training sessions and how every little thing has a reasoning for the next and how advanced the next drill was great. I felt like i played really well and physical and can't wait until the next camp.

I will be attending the Oglethorpe University Winter ID Camp for the 2 time this year and i am really excited to go again. When i went the first time seeing how the college coaches ran there drills and everything was interesting because everyone had there own little style to it and i thought that was cool. Also when it was Q/A time i thought it was interesting how they would explain how they would run things during soccer season in college. Like how they would have practice in the morning and they would go to class for the rest of the time and then later that day run a gym session and alot more. But i cant wait to attend it again this Saturday.

I am really excited to play in this showcase. This is going to be my first showcase i am doing and I cant wait for it.

This being my first showcase and playing infront of many college coaches was a great experience not only for me but also my team so we could all get some exposure and see how high level teams played and moved the ball around it was fantastic. We won our first game 5-0 vs IMG and that was a crazy game. We play the #6 team and Ohio and lost 1-0 but that game was amazing and great intensity game and you could tell that both us and the other team really wanted a win. Hopefully we can attend the next showcase there.

It was a great experience just seeing the drills the coaches ran. Also just talking to them also and hearing them talking about college ball was really entertaining.
