Personal Statement
Transferring:
I am looking to transfer from Bridgewater College because I want a faster speed of play. I also played at Ohio Wesleyan University for one year. I want to play at as high of a level as I can while receiving my degree. God willing, I find the right fit for my last two years of NCAA eligibility and academically to finish my Business Management degree.
Training:
Trained with a professional team, the Atlanta Silverbacks, for multiple sessions. Played against Stoke City U-18 Development team. Trained with Concorde Fire U.S. Soccer Development Academy U17 team.
Club Soccer Season:
Fall 2013 -- led team to become Division 1 Champions, from ninth place last season. The team won with a 9-2-2 record, with 32 goals and having lowest goals, 10, scored against us. See our statistics at Georgia Soccer. Excellent showing at CASL in Raleigh, NC, Nov. 22-24. Nov. 22 we beat Florida Kraze Black 3-0; Nov. 23 we beat Club Athletico Miami 1-0 and on Nov. 24 tied with Cleveland United White 0-0. Great showing at ODP Sub-regional event in Winston-Salem NC Jan. 4-5, 2014. A strong showing at NASA Adidas Friendship Cup & College Showcase, May 16-18, 2014.
Aspirations:
I would like to start a non-profit to help needy children in the Caribbean and United States, learn to play soccer at an early age. My parents instilled in me that it is important to pay it forward and help someone less fortunate. I also believe in being a servant-leader.
Soccer career snapshot:
Scored key goal to help Bridgewater Eagles keep its playoff hopes alive and I scored a major assist in the 2016 season to help the team into the playoffs. I amassed 78 goals during club soccer career, plus 21 goals on high school varsity teams, including a key goal to win a tough game at Alpharetta High School against Milton High School and a key goal and assist to give Cambridge High School it's first ever region win. I had a total of 12 assists during the 2013 Cambridge soccer season, including a crucial assist to tie up the game 2-2 against a familiar opponent, Milton. The only freshman to make varsity team at Alpharetta High School in 2012. Started in 12 games. Scored a career-high six goals in a club tournament, to lead the team to overall win in the Nike Norcross Cup. I started to play right outside defender at the Atlanta Cup and stopped dangerous opposing goal threats and locked down star players. Capable of playing multiple positions, along with great athleticism, including speed and strength, makes me a solid player. I am hard to knock off the ball and dangerous on the outside. Three-year letter-winner in Varsity Soccer, one for 2011-2012 Alpharetta High School season and for 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 Cambridge High School seasons.
