Tyler Kaanapu '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8" right midfielder who can also play as a defender or forward. I am from Ewa Beach,Hawaii and I will graduate in the 2015 class. I have played for AYSO for 10 years, and have been playing club ball for about 3 years. My recent accomplishments are being selected to play in the AYSO Nationals Tournament this summer in Knoxville, Tennessee (2012)  and being selected again this summer (2014) to participate in the tournament in Torrance, California. I am a very universal player I can play any position that you would like. I can work good with other players and I tend to pick up on things very quickly so teaching or mentoring won't be difficult. I am a very hard working athlete both on and off the field and if you give me a chance I can prove it to you. My ideal dream is to be accepted to a college where I can get a good education as well as play soccer. I am willing to attend colleges in different regions of the US. Financial Aid is going to be very important to me and my family. Once I graduate from college I would hope to be drafted into a professional soccer league team and make my dream a reality.
