I’ve played club soccer since I was six years old. Towards the end of 8th grade, I decided I wanted to play for my high school soccer team. I developed a plan to make the team. Between the summer break and freshman tryouts in October, I spent many hours on my own each week conditioning and practicing technical soccer skills to become a better soccer player and athlete. Physically I am faster and stronger, mentally I am quicker on and off the ball. It paid off as I made the JV team against sixty other players, proving I can follow through on a plan and sacrifice when necessary to achieve my goals.
My goal is to find a college where I fit in both academically and on the pitch. I can work well with others in school, sports and Boy Scouts. I have stepped up to lead when needed, either for a project or a penalty kick. I know I have what it takes to help the right team and have a positive impact on the program.
