My name is Jackson Monk. I’m currently in my senior year at Hillcrest High School which is in Ammon, Idaho. I’m looking for a college where I can challenge myself academically and also challenge myself on the soccer field.
I am most experienced in playing center back, but have played outside back, or wing. I feel as though those would be my strongest positions, but I also feel like I am able to adapt to any position. I’m a three year varsity starter for Hillcrest High School and my team has been district champions for two of those three years. We have traveled to the state tournament for all three years, and In 2017 we placed 3rd in the tournament. I believe that some of my strengths are speed, reading the game well and efficiently, and communication. Those strengths helped me to have been chosen for the all conference first team, 5A District 5/6 first team, and also to have been chosen to be my teams captain (all in 2017). I have also played club soccer for Idaho Falls Fusion since 2013. We have played and won many tournaments here in Idaho and also in Utah.
I believe I am a hard worker, a good teammate, and a dedicated student. Thank you for looking at my profile!
