Daniel Giraldo '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Daniel Giraldo borne in Gurnee, IL in 07/02/1997.  I am currently attending College of Lake County in Illinois as a Freshman.  Attended Warren Township High school.  Finished my classes in Dec of 2014 but graduation took place in June of 2015.  I had a chance to studied Spanish and played in Oviedo Spain for 3 months (Jan-Mar 2015).  I was also able to trained in Medellin, Colombia with Escuela de FutIbol Alexis Garcia and ColoColo de Medellin for six months (Jul - Dec 2015).  I am hopping to be able to play at the collegiate level and get an education on either Physical Therapy or Graphic Design.  I have been exposed to and trained in all defensive and Mid Field positions of competitive play including defensive midfield. Skilled in defensive techniques, including delaying, heading, slide tackling, shielding, stripping and counterattacking. High intensity, high concentration. Excellent timing and anticipation, positioning, reading the game. Knowledgeable in team and individual strategy.
