Aidan Meagher '22 Recruiting Profile

I'm Aidan Meagher, a senior attending Dunlap High School, in Dunlap IL with plans to graduate in 2022.  

I started playing competitive soccer when I was six years old and it has been my major passion ever since. I've been working to fulfill my lifelong dream of being able to play soccer at the collegiate level. Playing as a starting center mid/wing for Central Illinois United Boys 2002 Copa, FC Peoria and Dunlap High School, I'm a versatile player with the ability to play successfully in most other positions.  

I'm a hardworking and driven individual on and off the field.  I maintain a 3.6 unweighted gpa while taking a majority of AP and Honors classes. For my first ACT early sophomore year, I scored a 24.  For extracurriculars, I've participated in Earth club and Federation of Christian Athletes in high school.  

Each Summer since 3rd grade I've participated in high level collegiate and other soccer camps such as Northwestern University, Bradley University, IMG Academy and Exact Sports. I've been personally invited to several tournaments representing IMG Academy, and was able to participate in one and represented them well. Feedback often includes how coachable, fast and adaptable I am.  Speed and agility training along with weight lifting enhance my performance. 

I believe I'd make a positive contribution to many college soccer programs given the opportunity.
